there is an amazing ukranian catholic church that was built in 1969 near our place in the catskills. The building was built with 12×12 rough hewn beams without any joinery and we always love seeing it. It is on Route 23a in Hunter, NY. Here is my painting of this structure.

Schoharie Creek December Afternoon
I had the chance to work plein air today. It was incredibly clear, but also cold on this crisp December afternoon. I had begun another work (still in progress) and thought to go home, but the car would not start. I had to call AAA and wait for a bit. To make sure that the
