Coalpit Lightscape

In the center of downtown Winston, there is an old Coalpit that was built to hold the fuel for the powerplant that ran the RJ Reynolds Factory complex (making cigarettes). Now, it has been emptied of coal, but the rail tracks still run overhead, and through a day, the light is in constant shifting play.

Nine works in a series. Each 6×6 is presented together in an array that is about 24″ square framed..
