Painter and internationally recognized theatrical scenic and lighting designer, author, and teacher. He is interested in the subjects of color and light, and his paintings reflect that passion. Most often working in either oil or watercolor, his work is often done Plein Air. His work can also be seen on Instagram @clifton.taylor.art. His designs for the theater can be seen at www.designcurve.com and on Instagram at @clifton.taylor.design. Mr. Taylor is a professor of Lighting Design at UNCSA. He is also the co-founder of the Studio School of Design, a not-for-profit institution dedicated to increasing access to and equity within the design field to all people.
